Shawn opened Favero's Hair Salon with his mother in March of 1994 after graduating from Forbes Road East Vocational School of Cosmetology in 1992. He later went on to receive his Cosmetology teaching certificate from Forbes Road East Vocational School. Prior to opening the salon, Shawn spent four years at Keeley's Beauty Salon in Penn Hills, served two years on the Forbes Road East Cosmetology Advisory Board, and was a member of the Nexxus color design team. He is also a certified stylist for the original Brazilian Blowout.
Jason
Owner & Stylist
Jason began his professional career in 1997 after graduating from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy. He specializes in men's hair cutting, providing precise, well-structured cuts—modern or classic—tailored to each client's preferences. Also certified in the original Brazilian Blowout.
Gina
Stylist
Gina graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in 2003 and spent seven years at Salon de Renee in Monroeville before joining Favero's Hair Salon in 2009. She is known for her signature styling, often referred to by clients as the 'Gina-do,' specializing in customized, polished cuts and colors that enhance each client's individual style.
Amanda
Stylist
Amanda graduated from Forbes Road East Vocational School of Cosmetology in 2007 and continued her education at Douglas Education Center in 2010. She worked for over seven years at Jakay's Salon & Spa in Plum before joining Favero's in 2015. Amanda offers a well-rounded approach to beauty services, with a focus on hair cutting and coloring.
Christi
Stylist
Christi earned her Managing Cosmetology license from the Ohio State School of Cosmetology and later obtained her Cosmetology teacher's license. She worked at several salons in Ohio before relocating to Pennsylvania, where she spent 12 years at Eden's Salon. During that time, she also served as a substitute cosmetology instructor at Forbes Road East Vocational Technical School. Christi joined Favero's Hair Salon in 2020, specializing in modern cutting and coloring techniques grounded in strong technical education and experience.
